The lighter is empty. Due to shipping regulations, each lighter will not be filled with lighter fluid. However, you can easily refill it like a regular lighter. You can find lighter fluid in most corner stores, DIY shops, and online.
The reliable ignition mechanism ensures a stable flame and is equipped with flint. Depending on how often you use it, you may need to refill it every 2 to 4 weeks.
Rust inside the case is common and is caused by residual chemicals from the surface treatment process. As the interior of the case is not visible during normal use and friction occurs when inserting the lighter, the inside remains "unadorned." This is typical functionality and not a quality issue.
